What are the different types of batteries?

Flat or tubular plate batteries for a lifespan between 700 and 1500 cycles. One cycle represents a complete charge and discharge. In our selection, we also include semi-traction acid batteries which have a lifespan of 300 to 700 cycles and Lithium-ion batteries with 2000 cycles (at 50% discharge).

Acid scrubber battery with maintenance

• Acid batteries have a high capacity.
• They must be maintained/filled with distilled water.
• They can only be charged in a ventilated area due to gas emissions during charging.

Maintenance-free GEL scrubber battery

• Gel batteries have a lower capacity.
• These batteries are relatively more expensive to purchase.
• Gel batteries do not require refilling with distilled water or any special maintenance.
• They can be recharged anywhere because there is no gas emission during charging.

Maintenance-free Lithium-ion scrubber battery

• These batteries have a high capacity in a small footprint.
• Batteries with a lifespan of up to 4000 partial recharge cycles (at 25% discharge).
• Lithium batteries require no special maintenance and are self-protected against deep discharges or overloads.
• They can be recharged at any time, even partially.
